Bison and Pork Meatballs

Just a simple recipe. High in protein, great flavor, and really simple ingredients. Bake and use with pasta and sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground bison
  • ¼ pound ground pork
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic granulated or fresh
  • 1 small yellow onion finely diced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon thyme fresh or dried
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to bake 350 degrees F.
  • In a medium mixing bowl add the ground bison, ground pork, and seasonings. Mix well to incorporate.
  • Using your hands, form the mixture into balls about 1-inch in diameter.
  • Place on parchment paper on a sheet pan in the oven and monitor 1/2 hour at a time, turn as necessary.
  • Remove and serve.

Try this with rice and our Beef Gravy.  Leftovers or uncooked can be frozen
